DHARMA IN ESSENCE. DHARMA IN ACTION.
Sri Svami Purna Maharaj, a Himalayan Master, and highly honored environmental activist and lawyer, MC Mehta, are collaborating on the Purna Vedic University project and the Eco Ashram in India. The intention is to achieve an initiative to inspire others to take dharmic action that is in alignment with the essence of life, the Vedic Sanatana Dharma and the rhythmic flows of nature. This initiative celebrates India's Vedic traditional spiritual, environmental and ecological understanding.
We are inviting all to join us in taking up the call to protect this sacred region and to restore the Ganga and Himalaya to their pristine purity. As preparation for the Kumbh Mela that will be held in Hardwar 2021/2022, we are planning a pilot program in Rishikesh to educate the local community and inspire meaningful action to clean up and preserve the Ganga in the area, which is 13 miles/21 km upstream from Hardwar.
